Trading Post for Card Collectors ("Trading Post", "we", "us") is a free, social app for trading collectible cards card-for-card. Nothing is sold in the app and no payments are processed. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Account: your email address, a display name and your password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
Profile (optional): town/city, state/province and country, shown next to your name so collectors know where you trade from; and a mailing address, which is private and only shared with a trade partner when you choose to share it inside an accepted trade.
Listings: card photos (front/back), card details, condition, grading and what you are looking for. Listings are visible to other signed-in collectors.
Purchase receipts (optional): stored in a private storage area visible only to you and, once a trade is accepted, your trade partner.
Most-wanted list: card titles you add. Other users only ever see anonymous, aggregated "most wanted" counts.
Offers, trades and messages: the cards in each offer, trade status and dates, meet-up notes, tracking numbers and the messages you exchange with other collectors.
Reports and blocks: reports you submit about content or users, and the users you block.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not access your precise location, contacts or advertising identifier.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time and request type) for security and abuse prevention for a limited period.
Photos: the app only receives the specific photo you pick or take. Photos are resized and re-encoded on your device before upload, which removes embedded metadata such as GPS location.
On your device, the app stores your sign-in session and language preference so you stay signed in.
To run the app: show the trading board, deliver offers and messages, and help you arrange in-person or through-the-mail (TTM) trades.
To keep the community safe: enforce our Terms, filter objectionable content, review reports and act on abusive accounts.
To send essential account emails such as verification codes and password resets. We do not send marketing email.
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
With other collectors: your display name, general location and listings are visible to signed-in users. Your email address is never shown to other users. Your mailing address is shared only with a specific trade partner when you choose to share it.
Service providers: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) processes data on our behalf under its data processing terms. Email delivery providers send account emails.
Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.
We keep your information while your account is active. You can edit your profile, and edit or delete listings and most-wanted entries at any time.
You can permanently delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account. This deletes your profile, listings, photos, receipts, most-wanted list, offers, trades and messages. Server backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to every database table is restricted by row-level security so users can only read what they are permitted to see.
Trading Post is intended for people aged 18 and over, or younger collectors using the app with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us to exercise them; we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
